Pixel Rocket
Product engineering studio — Belgium

We build the hard parts.

Pixel Rocket is a two-person studio. We take products from idea through architecture to production — and we take over the ones that have become expensive to change.

What we build

Complex problems. Solid software.

Who it's for
“I have a product idea. I need someone who can actually build it.”
Founders
“Our application has become complicated. Every change breaks something.”
Existing products
“We need a custom application, not another tool we have to bend.”
SMEs
“I want people who understand the product, not only the code.”
Everyone
What we build

Four kinds of work. All of it software that has to run on Monday morning.

01

SaaS products

Multi-tenant architecture, billing, permissions, onboarding — the parts that are painful to retrofit once you have customers.

02

Custom web applications

Business logic no off-the-shelf product models correctly, written to be understood by whoever touches it next.

03

APIs and backend systems

Integrations, data models and services that other teams depend on and cannot afford to have wobble.

04

Modernisation and scale

Existing applications that need to grow, move faster, or simply become safe to change again.

What happens when…

…you only have an idea

We spend the first days on your domain, not on the framework. You get a scope you can decide on, and the smallest version that is genuinely production-grade.

…the product already exists

We read the code before we have opinions. Then we tell you what is worth keeping, what should be replaced, and in what order.

…every change breaks something

That is usually structural, not a people problem. We isolate the risky parts, add the tests that were missing, and make the system safe to touch.

AI in the workflow

We use AI heavily. It is a tool, not the product.

AI makes experienced engineers faster. It does not turn inexperienced decisions into good ones. Everything it produces here is reviewed by someone who will still be responsible for it in two years.

01

Faster groundwork

Scaffolding, migrations, test coverage and documentation take hours instead of days.

02

More exploration

We can prototype two or three approaches before committing to one. That is where most architectural mistakes get avoided.

03

The same standards

Reviewed, tested, owned. Nothing ships because a model suggested it.

What we don’t do: hand you generated code nobody understands, or charge you for the time it saved.

Who you’re working with

Two people. No layers.

You talk to the people writing the code, because there are only two of us. Senior enough to tell you when an idea is expensive, small enough to care that you come back.

We have one large project running commercially that we cannot present publicly. So there is no portfolio here — ask us in a call and we will talk about it properly.

17+
Years in production

Each. Backend, APIs, SaaS architecture, DevOps.

2
People you actually talk to

No account managers in between.

10+
Domains worked in

From regulated data to logistics to consumer products.

How we work together
Most common

Product build

From idea to a live product: discovery, architecture, build, launch, and the unglamorous reliability work afterwards.

Ongoing

Joining your product

We come into an existing codebase and team, take ownership of a part of it, and leave it better documented than we found it.

Fixed, short

Technical review

We read the system and tell you honestly what state it is in and what it will cost to move forward. Two weeks, fixed price.

Tell us what you’re building.

One email, one call. If we are not the right studio for it, we will say so.
